Catherine is well rounded artist. When she is not sketching, painting or photographing nature she teaches art workshops for children and adults. Catherine finds inspiration in reading about natural history, practicing yoga & listening to American Roots music.
She also writes about visual art and her adventures on the Oregon homestead that she called Home as a child.
The quintessential woman of the 80's was inspiration that allowed the worlds of fashion and illustration to convene in the early works for Malcolm Watson. A strong foundation in traditional art techniques liberated Malcolm's vision. An elegant sophisticated, but utterly contemporary icon of that era emerged into the 90's. The attention to detail, mastery of technique, proved to be a winning combination generating international poster and print sales. Editorial and cover art commissions followed with images gracing publications like Avant Garde, Vogue, Elle and Tatler.
