C. J. Swanson draws inspiration from the vibrant city-life and breathtaking landscapes of the Puget Sound Region of Washington State. As a fine artist and studio painter, she has been selling and exhibiting her work to collectors both private and public for several years. She has done commissioned paintings for Microsoft in Redmond, Washington and for interior designers. A graphic designer for 25 years, Linda has always been a keen photographer and artist. Photographing local landmarks and nature, and combining these with images of textured surfaces, she creates images that are a hybrid of digital art and fine art photography. Linda also explores abstract art through a mixed media combination of digital media and acrylics—she feels this innovative mix of image layering and digital manipulation to be extremely inspiring and offers new scope for her creativity.
