Lora Gold is a Vancouver painter and educator. Her work has taken different directions over the course of her career. Whether in the form of her large abstract expressionist figurative paintings or her painterly still-life, Gold strives to interweave the ordinary with the extraordinary. Her personal journey is to understand truth and live her life completely from that place and believes her paintings will be a testimony of that journey and marking of a history.
Ling was born and grew up in China, and now works as an artist in London. After she finished her MA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design, University of the Arts London, she chose to become an illustrator because she likes the idea that her creations could be shared and used in people’s daily lives – and given and shared by loved ones.
