Born in 1967 in Kansas City, Mo., Michael Letzig graduated with a B.F.A. in Design from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1989. As an artist and designer, Michaels career spans 18 years and has covered an array of industries from home décor to stationery and gifts to visual merchandising and has served in numerous capacities as contractor and creative director.
In the late eighties, Letzig became a board member of the progressive artist cooperative “Theme”, mounting spontaneous “pop-up” exhibitions/installations around the country.
