Vail Oxley grew up in Beijing China, and spent most of his early years living with his grandparents in the country, while his parents worked in the city. Much of his inspiration comes from the time he spent enjoying the beautiful scenery while fishing with his grandfather.
Vail is a professional artist who has achieved recognition and won awards at the Beijing Children's Palace and the Beijing Art Gallery. His works have been exhibited throughout Beijing and have been published by the Beijing Evening Newspaper and noted in the Jiujing Magazine.
He continues to reside in Beijing with his wife and child.
