Art has been a part of Mary Escobedo's life since she was a young child. "My first creations were in my mother's lipstick. The inside of her closets have never been the same!"

Immediately following high school, Mary's love for art and a scholarship, took her to the breezy city of San Francisco. Her academic pursuits led her to San Jose where she majored in Art and English. "My first job as a teacher was short-lived. I love to teach but hate taking attendance!" Her creative muse was calling and after some graphic design training, Mary began her new career as a graphic designer.

Growing up in a creative family in New York city was the perfect environment for Jim Walsh who now paints as J. Charles. "My family appreciates art and they encouraged me to follow my passion for drawing and painting."

Following a stint in the US Navy he felt the need to wander and hitch-hiked across the country and settled in California…for awhile. From there he moved back east to Montreal, Canada, and eventually traveled out to Alberta where he apprenticed as a sign painter and eventually open his own sign company. Colleen Sarah is inspired by many things around her; the beauty of objects that are hand-made and imperfect, the patina of objects that have been worn by the passage of time, the contrast of realistically rendered images and abstract backgrounds, color and light and most importantly the beauty in nature. "I hope my art inspires the viewer and reminds them of the beauty that is around us. I love to experiment and try new techniques; my goal is to find a fresh approach to painting everyday objects."
