Growing up in Pennsylvania near Amish country, Connor Adams was raised in the legacy of the simple form, line and design that makes his home famous. It is without doubt that this background is major influence on his career as an artist.

He embarked on his education with an Associate of Painting at Pratt Institute, School of Art and Design in New York City. Receiving formal education in both fine art and graphic design, Luanne D'Amico draws on knowledge of both to create paintings which combine realism with strong composition and design elements. She calls her style "decorative realism".  Luanne began working exclusively with colored pencil early on in her career. She builds multiple layers of pencil, blending at times with a brush and burnishing the final layers until her works achieve an oil painting type finish.
