As a young boy growing up in a small town in Massachusetts, Christopher James would spend much time exploring the ponds and woods that surrounded his home. Here he developed a deep love of nature which can be seen in his paintings of birds, butterflies and foliage. Later he would find himself enjoying the ocean and shoreline along Long Island as well, inspiring for his art of seashells and coastal life.

Blakely Bering’s professional art career began upon graduating with a BFA in theater design. Blakely put her studies in costume and set design to direct use by working in opera design and television production around the United States. Transitioning from large scale design to fine art was seamless and natural for her.

Clifford Bailey can trace the beginning of his artistic endeavors back to early childhood. With the help and encouragement of teachers and a supportive family, he found himself enrolled, and participating, in several South Florida programs for the gifted, until 1987, when he landed in New York City to begin his College training.
