Painting is Patricia’s passion.  She hasexplored all mediums, however always comes back to watercolor.  She has participated in workshops with Carla O’Connor, Eric Christiansen and Fumiko Kimura.The Preut Collection Gig Harbor Washington represented her watercolors, andPatricia has enjoyed a series of shows that have featured her work.

She has won first place in a national visual merchandising contest for The Kipling Corporation.  The prize was a trip to Belgium to celebrate their 10 year anniversary.Custom commissioned artwork can be found in private collections in Chicago Illinois, Houston Texas and Washington State.

Violet was born in the cold north, surrounded by a community of outdoorsmen and artists.  She spent her childhood drawing, painting and spending time with her beloved Aunt who was a highly respected artist.  Summer days were spent in the alpine meadows sketching wild flowers.  Violet became a prolific sketcher and by the age of 16 she decided to explore the world of her older sister.  She set off taking the bare necessities: a sketch book, small set of watercolors and a large back pack.  For two years the girls traveled through Western Europe.  It was there that she began collecting vintage postcards and ephemera at old antique stores and flea markets.

Working with textures and thick application of paint over materials like burnt wood, brass, and aluminum, Paulo creates a balance between the painting as a realistic image, and as a composition. He strives to see things as they really are and enjoys walks with his son who observes shapes, colour, and tiny details about the world in a unique and refreshing way.
