Despite his lifelong interest in art, it was only in the early 1990's when Will Rafuse decided to pursue his interest in painting on a full time basis. When he began his professional painting career in Vancouver he did not know that his colorful work would soon become a permanent fixture in the North American art scene. Lora Gold is a Vancouver painter and educator. Her work has taken different directions over the course of her career. Whether in the form of her large abstract expressionist figurative paintings or her painterly still-life, Gold strives to interweave the ordinary with the extraordinary.
