Colleen Sarah is inspired by many things around her; the beauty of objects that are hand-made and imperfect, the patina of objects that have been worn by the passage of time, the contrast of realistically rendered images and abstract backgrounds, color and light and most importantly the beauty in nature. "I hope my art inspires the viewer and reminds them of the beauty that is around us. I love to experiment and try new techniques; my goal is to find a fresh approach to painting everyday objects."

Victoria Gerken has traveled extensively throughout the world, from London to Delhi, Rome to Bali, studying art and culture. Living much of her life in Japan and Europe, Victoria has gained a strong appreciation of global art and craftsmanship. While in Japan, she completed her teaching certification in porcelain art, and then studied design in Lausanne, Switzerland. Victoria attributes her respect for the simplistic beauty of nature to Japanese influences, and enjoys reflecting such sensitivities in her work.
