Ever since she was able to hold tools, Katie Sue Blevins has been creating art. Growing up in southern California, the tool was often a stick to draw in the sandy beaches near her home. Her mother, a painter, inspired her to create with whatever was at hand.
Katie is self-taught, and considers herself somewhat of an "outsider" artist. She has a deep and personal appreciation for the beauty that can be found in nature, and this beauty often serves as the foundation for her work.
