For photographer, Bret Staehling, there's nothing like the allure of a far away destination, exploring foreign lands, experiencing new cultures, and interacting with the locals. Bret's earliest published photography, for his university newspaper, primarily involved sporting events. But today he is focused on travel, usually sharing the adventure with his wife, Angie and their three children. Receiving formal education in both fine art and graphic design, Luanne D'Amico draws on knowledge of both to create paintings which combine realism with strong composition and design elements. She calls her style "decorative realism". Luanne began working exclusively with colored pencil early on in her career. She builds multiple layers of pencil, blending at times with a brush and burnishing the final layers until her works achieve an oil painting type finish.
